ISP host families are carefully selected to provide the best
homestay experience for both the International student and the
host family. Information from the student’s homestay information
form and the host family application is used to match the student
with a family. The selection process involves both an application
and one or more family interviews. After selection, attendance
is required at the Host Family Orientation to being consistency
to the program; make sure that all families are aware of LCS rules
and guidelines concerning the program, and to answer any questions
or concerns about the program.
The selection process is outlined in the chart below. Host Family
Applications are due in the LCS office by March 15th.
