Dear Parents of Senior Students:
Congratulations on having a Senior this year at Lima Christian School!
One of the perks for Seniors is the attention they receive in the yearbook.
With that, however, comes deadlines for information, photos, and money.
The yearbook staff and I work very hard to include everyone in these
special features. We are successful with your assistance and cooperation
and that of your student.
Here's a "heads-up" on some things to expect:
1) Senior portrait – due 12/1/07 (See "We
want your picture!" letter.)
2) Order yearbook-about $26. Seniors have their name
imprinted on the cover (paid for by class funds). Seniors have the option
of buying additional cover features at a maximum price of about $25. Order
will be due late Oct/early Nov., whether with extra features or not.
3) Parent/Family Ad-about $35. This is a space (business
card size) reserved for parents and family members of seniors that features
a photo of the student (usually young child or baby) and a short message.
Carol Parks assists the Yearbook staff by providing parents with this
information and collecting the submissions. You will probably hear from
her in the late fall. This is optional; however, space is limited.
4) Senior information. This includes a variety of information
(plans, activities, etc.) and additional photos and is usually placed
with the senior portrait. It makes for a better yearbook when each student
fills this out completely. Due around winter '08.
5) Business Ad-about $35 and up. Parents who own a business
or service oftentimes like to buy a space for a business ad and include
a special line congratulating their child or the class. The yearbook staff
can provide you with information about sizes and prices. Due late fall.
This is optional.
Questions? Parents and students are always welcome to contact me. It
is better to use my home phone number or email than to ask the office
staff. Ph #624-9521; robin_douglas@yahoo.com.
Thank you so much!
