SENIORS! Class of 2008!!

We want your picture!

Taa-daa! It’s your year to shine in the Lima Christian School 2007-2008 YEARBOOK. Your senior picture can be uniquee or traditional, a casual setting or a formal portrait—all within guidelines (see below).

Look through the 2007 LCS yearbook for ideas. The picture you submit may be in either color or black/white (it will be black/white in the yearbook). Size to submit: Wallet (2 ½” x 3 ½”), or up to 3x5".

Read ALL of this important info or you may lose time and be charged a late fee when we return your photo for an appropriate one:

*Make plans now to have your picture taken. Options:

  1. Studios such as Images in Mt. Morris, Leichtner's, Studio L, Trammel $$$
  2. Quick and limited service at CL!X (formerly DigiQuick). About $33 for sitting fee and 1 yearbook glossy.
  3. Have a friend or family member take it. It's your responsibility to meet the required deadline and specifications. $
  4. LCS School Picture taken in the Fall of 2006. These have worked well for some seniors in the past (bet you couldn’t tell). If that’s your plan, put a note in an envelope marked “Yearbook” and turn it in to the office or email Mrs. Douglas. $

*Be in dress code.

This means: Everyone—no jeans, no T-shirt, no hat, no sports uniform, no pets. Boys--shirt collars, neat haircuts, no jewelry other than a necklace. Girls—modest necklines and hemlines (absolutely no bare midriff or tank tops).

*Your photo must be vertical (up and down).

Stand, sit, crouch, lean, lie down – but the print must be vertical and your head and chest must be upright. (Most of the photo studios that serve LCS students know this, but remind them.)

*Submit your photo to the Yearbook Editor by December 1.

Most photography studios will mail your photo to the school for you. If you have the photo, then put it in an envelope marked “Yearbook” and turn it in to the office. The deadline is crucial. A late fee may be imposed on late submissions.

Yearbook Team for 2007-2008

Seniors’ input is needed! You may help design the cover, select the dedication, develop a theme; use the school digital camera, select and crop photos, design yearbook pages on the computer, sell business ads.  You can give it all you’ve got, like Editor Julia Heen and staff Jill Douglas and Meghan Kiefer, or you can help in specific areas for a shorter time. In the end, you know you helped create a great book. And, the team gets cool T-shirts and goes out to celebrate.
